Yes, the website will appear automatically in the common browsers (e.g. Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.) in a couple weeks.
It will happen in 3-6 weeks after preparing the website. The so called "search engines" are scanning internet, and when they find a new website they collect it into a database, and then make it available for the browsers after a while. These browsers usually search in the contents of the website.
Your website can appear in the browsers faster if links point to it from other sites. You can achieve this by publishing ads in free advertising sites, or by adding your site to link collections such as addurl.com, that fits the contents of your site.

What can I do to make my site appear at a good position in the browsers (on top of the hit list).
It has several conditions. The most important is how browsers evaluate your website such as Google. If it qualifies your site as a good one then your site will be on the top of the list.
You can find it out by checking how many links (cross-references) point to your site from other websites. The more such references the browser finds, the higher your site will be on the hit list. But it is one condition only. The position can be influenced by other means, too.

My site could have been found by Google browser, but it disappeared now. What happened?
We do not know its exact reason but it seems to be a normal procedure at Google. The web site gets into the browser, it is visible for some days, then it disappears and appears again in a couple days (or weeks) only. Usually it remains in the list afterwards.
